1. Dukes Nose Lonavala

2. Irshalgad

Go on a trekking trip to this magical looking Irshalgad accessible from Panvel Station.The difficulty level of the trek is between moderate to difficult depending on how experienced you are. Situated away from the city, it is a perfect place to relax your mind and have some fun. To reach the top of the pinnacle it is essential to have artificial rock climbing equipment.

Visapur Fort is situated in Lonavala around 100kms away from Mumbai city and 5km away from Malavli station. Inside the fort, there are caves, cisterns of water, a decorated arch and old houses to see. The difficulty level is medium & it takes approx. 1 hour to reach the top. Along the way, you can enjoy the mesmerizing view of Pavana Dam & its backwaters.

Devkund Waterfall: Located approx 150kms from Mumbai city. Devkund Waterfall is accessible via two hours trek from the base village called ‘Bhira’, near Bhira Dam. It’s one of the virgin places with crystal clear water & the trek is comparatively easy making it suitable for even amateurs to visit. It is a confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of Kundalika river.

7. Korigad

Go for an adventurous expedition to Tikona Fort near Mumbai. The trek takes around 2hrs to reach the top and is easy for first timers also.

Peb fort lies in Matheran region and it is perfect for a day’s outing. The 3 hours trek starts from a base in Neral town, it requires basic rock climbing, ridge walk, and forest trail, making it an ideal getaway for nature lovers in Mumbai. The fort is famous for meditation chambers carved out from the rock inside the mountain and the Buruj, facing the Panorama point of Matheran.

12. Kalavantin Durg

Kalavanti durg is located right next to Prabhalgad. The beauty of this trek is the amazing rock cut steps that zig-zag their way up the mountain to take you to the top of the fort. One can get a panoramic view from the top, not to mention the thrill of an exposed climb via the stairs.

13. Torna Fort

With its towering height of 5,400ft, it offers a stunning panoramic view of the Sahyadri Ranges. Located around 150 km from Mumbai, the trek starts from the base village, Bari.

Tamhini Ghat is a hilly place near Mulshi dam. The ghats look unbeatable wall at one end by the roadside. The area is blessed with waterfalls, verdant valleys and lush evergreen forests, which makes it a quick addition to the list of favorites of all its visitors

16. Gorakhgad Fort Murbad Thane

Watch yourself floating amidst clouds at this magnificent, yet largely unexplored Gorakhgad Fort. The place is Thrilling yet welcoming & is perfect for beginners! Enchanting forests, hidden waterfalls, and caves – these make up the trail to Gorakhgad peak. The magic doubles during monsoon, where you’ll see scenic views from the mountain pinnacle along with waterfalls all around you. The base village of the fort is Dehari which is 25km from Murbad and 50km from Karjat.

17. Kondane Caves

Kondane Cave is a group of Buddhist caves located in Karjat region of Maharashtra. The location of these caves is on the same mountain of Rajmachi Fort. These caves display the ancient lifestyle of Buddhist monks who lived here. You can get magnificent views of the surrounding Sahyadri mountain ranges while trekking to these caves.
